Delete your IceBreaker account
You can delete your IceBreaker account and data at any time, directly in the app. It only takes a few seconds and can't be undone.
Delete in the app
- Open IceBreaker and sign in.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm by tapping Delete forever.
Your account is deleted straight away and you're signed out. If you just want a break, you can simply sign out instead — or not go online.
What gets deleted
- Your profile and all your profile photos
- Your private account data (date of birth, home area, notification tokens)
- Your "online" entry and location
- All hi's you sent and received
- All your chats, including their messages and shared locations — for both people in the chat
- Your blocks, and blocks others made against you
- Your sign-in account (phone number, email, or Google / Apple link)
What we keep, and for how long
- Reports you made, and reports other people made about you, are kept to protect our community and handle repeat abuse, for up to [REPORT RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 12 months], and longer only if needed for a legal claim or a request from authorities.
- Backups: deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being overwritten.
- Crash reports (which don't include your profile or messages) expire automatically within 90 days.
- Emails you've sent us are kept as described in our Privacy Policy.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
Can't open the app?
If you no longer have the app or can't sign in, email aakashnandrajog.work@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address you signed in with, or include the phone number you used. We may ask you to confirm it's really you, and we'll delete your account and data within 30 days, usually much sooner, and confirm by email.
