Community Guidelines
IceBreaker works because people trust that whoever says hi is real, kind and safe to meet. These guidelines are how we keep it that way. They apply to your profile, your hi's, your chats — and to how you behave when you meet someone from IceBreaker.
Be real
- Use your own name and recent photos that clearly show you.
- Give your real age. IceBreaker is for adults 18+ only.
- One account per person. Don't pretend to be someone else, a celebrity or a brand.
- Only go online when you're actually free and nearby. Don't fake your location.
Be respectful
- A pass is a pass. If someone declines, blocks you, or stops replying, let it go.
- Treat people the way you'd want to be treated in person. Disagree kindly.
- Respect boundaries in person too: consent matters, every time.
What's not allowed
- Harassment and threats — bullying, stalking, intimidation, unwanted sexual comments, or trying to find someone's exact location.
- Hate — attacking anyone for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or health.
- Nudity and sexual content — no nude, sexually explicit or suggestive photos, and no sexual messages that weren't welcomed.
- Anything involving minors — no one under 18, ever. No photos of children without an adult in them, and nothing that sexualises a minor. We report child exploitation to the authorities.
- Violence — no violent or graphic content, and no promoting self-harm, weapons or dangerous activities.
- Scams and fraud — never ask for money, gift cards, crypto, bank details or investments, and don't use romance as a hook.
- Commercial use — no advertising, selling, promoting, recruiting, follower-farming, links to other services for gain, or sex work.
- Illegal activity — including buying or selling drugs.
- Sharing others' private information — no phone numbers, addresses, or photos of other people without their permission.
Meet safely
- Meet in busy public places and make your own way there and back.
- Tell a friend where you're going and who you're meeting.
- Only share your precise location in a chat when you're ready to meet.
- Trust your instincts. You can leave at any time.

How to block or report
- Block: from someone's profile or your chat with them, choose Block. You won't see each other nearby again, any pending hi's are cancelled and your chat closes. They aren't told. You can unblock people later in Settings → Blocked people.
- Report: from their profile, a hi, or your chat, choose Report, pick a reason (fake profile, inappropriate content, harassment, under 18, spam or scam, unsafe behaviour or something else) and add details if you like. Reports are confidential — the other person isn't told who reported them. We aim to review reports within 24 hours.
- You can also email us at aakashnandrajog.work@gmail.com.
- If you're in danger, call 112 first.
What happens if someone breaks the rules
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, issue a warning, restrict features, or suspend or permanently remove the account. Serious harm — threats, exploitation, anything involving a minor — means immediate removal, and we may report it to the police. Creating a new account to get around a ban isn't allowed.
If you think we got it wrong, email aakashnandrajog.work@gmail.com and we'll take another look.
